VISION

      The vision of our Public Service  Course is to develop the best public leaders in the world.

MISSION
  • Our mission is to be the institution of choice for prospective students seeking the education they need to excel as public and nonprofit sector leaders.

  • We help students reach their academic and professional goals by providing them with exceptional applied instruction that allows them to compete successfully for top jobs, and fully prepares them to meet the challenges they will face in an increasingly complex, demanding, interdependent world.

  • Students emerge from our program ready and able to employ the theories, methods, and practices of public Service to solve problems and make our communities and society better.

          All the arts courses are stepping stones for higher studies of students. These courses have an unique mixture of theories and practical which unfold that talent of doing individual projects where the students can get an opportunity to input their own innovations. In arts, B.A., Public Service Courses syllabus has been framed according to the civil services examination standards with an elevated curriculum. The course started at Mother Teresa Women’s University College in the academic year 2014 with 55 students.                                                                                                                         .                                                                                                                                                                                  

 DEPARTMENT ACTIVITES

          Quiz, In-Class Activity and Weekly Assignment. Students are prepared for unannounced short quizzes on the required readings. The class may be asked to participate in short group projects during the semester. Other activities may include completing self-assessment measures or presenting short critiques of relevant articles or cases. These learning activities will be used to clarify and apply basic class concepts.

      Self assessment (Reflection): Each student will be asked to record in a service-learning reflection log, their observations, emotions and learning experiences throughout the course. In particular, students should focus on their relationships and experiences in dealing with the community.
