The Department functions with the sole vision of educating the rural students in the emerging areas of management and research.
The Department of Business Administration has been functioning from the inception of the college in 1995. The BBA Department offers full time Bachelor’s programme with six semesters. On completion of the course, the students are well- tutored and trained in the various areas of management thereby transforming them from Campus to Corporate.
HIGHLIGHTS

Interactive classroom training which expands the student’s knowledge and sharpens their communicative, analytical and reasoning skills in the respective areas.

Apart from the theoretical tutoring, market surveys, conferences, seminars, skill based and entrepreneurship development training programmes are conducted to impart the students hands-on training and experience thereby tapping their in-bound talents and aid them to emerge as future entrepreneurs.

The students are taken for Industrial visits to help them gain an insight into the corporate world.

A well – equipped library and Internet Access to aid them to gain a global exposure..

The Department achieves a 100% result every year.

The students are placed in reputed concerns through the placement cell.

Well qualified staff members play a pivotal role in training and mentoring the students in the multi-faceted areas of management.
FUTURE PLANS

The department aims to initiate training programmes on soft – skills development and capacity building thereby enabling the students to break out of their communicative barriers and rice to greater heights.

To promote multi – disciplinary research thereby providing a rich intellectual environment for collaborative research among faculty and students from various departments.

Smart – Class rooms and a hi–tech library will also be initiated to create more interactive learning environment.

To develop collaborations with larger community, including industry, other universities and institutions of higher learning to enhance the learning capabilities of the first generation learners and the underprivileged.
