Greetings from Mother Teresa Women’s University College. Let me take this opportunity to congratulate and welcome all the young students who have chosen to pursue their undergraduate education in our College. Mother Teresa Women’s University College, born in 1995, is situated at nature’s lap, Kodaikanal. The inception of this College is a boon to all the girl students of the neglected, rural and tribal community, marginalized and destitute from all walks of life. Our College stands tall with the sole vision of providing quality and value-based education to the underprivileged first generation learners hailing from rural and tribal areas in and around Kodaikanal and the neighboring districts.
The college provides students various opportunities to foster their creativity and leadership skills by involving in social awareness and out reach programmes as a part of the curriculum. Students turn out to be self sufficient and confident persons to face the challenge of the world. They embark on activities related to eco friendly environment and community service. MTWUC strives with a passion to teach, mentor and empower the students through its distinct teaching methodologies. Students are encouraged to take part in various extension activities, conferences, seminars and training programmes apart from their regular curriculum. This innovative approach not only gives them an inquisitive bent of mind but also helps them develop their intellectual powers thereby inculcating a professional attitude in them.
